From the teaching An Equipping Network 2

Shalom everyone!  It's been very busy these last few weeks as my family and I are preparing to move back to the United States.  When we moved to Germany, I didn't want to come because I had a toddler and was already far away from family and moving to Germany meant that we were going to be even farther away.  What I didn't foresee was the amount of breaking down the Father had in store for me.  As I've mentioned earlier, I've been going through tremendous growth in the last 4 years and it's been very difficult.  This past week, I was able to overcome one of the biggest challenges that Father wanted me to address.  This issue was a barrier that I know Father called me to face head on before moving forward in my relationship with Him.  After being frightfully obedient, I noticed that my heart is softening where it had once been fortified with rock solid barricades.  I never even made the connection between this barrier and the area in which my heart began to soften either.  It's just a testimony to the goodness of YeHoVaH and His ways and how this teaching from Sister Juliet was right on time for me.

First of all, I just love when Juliet brings a word from Father.  I had the pleasure of meeting her several months ago and she has such a warm and loving spirit.  Knowing that she has overcome her fear of public speaking is a demonstration of her commitment to the faith.  There was quite a bit covered in this teaching relating to the mercy of YeHoVaH as well as the equipping of the body.  Psalms 136 speaks in great volume about the mercy of our heavenly Father and we know that it is present for those that love Him, Deuteronomy 7:9.  We want to walk in faith and obedience so that we will receive all that Father has for us.  As Juliet pointed out with those that wondered in the wilderness, we don't want to be named among the wonderers.  They were part of the assembly in name, but as I heard Arthur Bailey say recently, "Among the Saints, there are some ain'ts".  The good thing about Father is that He is merciful and longsuffering, so if you are an "ain't" right now, you can yield to Him and turn things around to start on the path He has laid out for you.  We want to be a people that strive to operate in everything YeHoVaH has given us to do.  If you've ever held a job or employed people we can relate to the idea that we want to be a quality performer or hire quality performers.  No one wants to employ a person that wants the most reward for the least amount of work they can do.  Sadly this attitude is rampant today; people want to do the least, yet they expect the most compensation. Father doesn't want that either and I'm not referring to the Christian concept of being under a performance yolk.  If we know that we've been given a commission through the words of Yeshua and we listen to what the voice of the Almighty is speaking to each one of us individually, we know that we have a job to do.  That's just the reality; there is work that needs to be done, work that He has for us to do and we need to take it serious.

Christianity's view of performance corrupts the idea that we are called to be holy and obedient and turns it into this notion that performing works in service of YeHoVaH is a yolk.  However, this is takes what His Word says and puts a corrupted human spin on it.  Galatians 5:16 tells us to walk by His Spirit so that the lusts of the flesh will not be fulfilled and James 2 describes a faith without works as being a dead faith - an "ain't". We know that when we are obedient to Him through faith that it is not a carnal undertaking.  The flesh can perform works outside of the Spirit, but Christianity has lumped this view together with allowing our works to be lead by the Spirit of the Most High dwelling within.  When we yield to Him, we give up our own control for Him to take control and direct us to DO His will.  I can't tell you how much Juliet's illustration of the twins blessed me.  Not only was it humorous, but it was a beautiful demonstration of the battle that rages within us all as long as we walk this earth in flesh.  The confusion that ensues when we mistake the crying out of our spirit for Father to meet a need for a need that can be taken care of by carnal means is the ultimate deception.  I've listened to that portion of the teaching more than once because it is so paramount.

As we can see from all the things discussed above, the equipping of the saints (Ephesians 4:11-12) is essential.  Teachers, pastors, prophets, evangelists, etc. are given to us to equip us to do the work of the kingdom.  As Juliet stated, it's not to become part of their fan club; to build their kingdom.  They should be there to point us to the Father, to help us get become grafted into the vine.  I think our ideas have been distorted by the overwhelming presence of the Christian religion that we are retarded in our growth and development as to what a citizen of the kingdom should look like and do.  Find a church and come weekly and be fed is the model we see.  This is why I am so thankful for the ministries that are promoting the proper Gospel and trying to encourage people to hear and do the will of the Father.  We need these models for people to see so that they can have a living example of what it looks like to walk in obedience to the full counsel of YeHoVaH and not to a religion.  Simultaneously while we receive the equipping through His Saints, we must equip ourselves and mature in our faith.  Reading and meditating on His Word, being still and seeking the leading of His Spirit.  As we mature in Him, we can equip the next generation to know of Him and know His Word.  As we instill the knowledge of YeHoVaH in them through example and teaching, we establish the platform and foundation for Father to work with them when He decides He's ready to call them.

It feels good to know that I was created for purpose and knowing that He has called me is such an honor.  We all must walk worthy of our calling and be diligent in doing so.  Where ever Father has call you, be faithful in that.  Respect the process and don't try to do things out of order.  Sometimes I can try to skip a few, or more than a few, steps because I think I can see the end from the beginning, but it has NEVER ended favorably.  I am learning to calm down and be faithful to the process He has for me and exercise patience and diligence.  I pray that this has been a blessing to you!  Until next time, shalom!

Cassandra

Thank you Cassandra for taking the message and presenting the gist of it in a format that we can easily digest. I thank the Father for the great communicator He is making you. It was a pleasure to meet you and your family in June. May YeHoVaH, the Good Shepherd, go ahead of you and your family as you head back to the US.
