Your personally invite to House of Israel U.K

April 16, 2019

Shalom saints

I’m Marcus Da Costa of House of Israel U.K

And I want to personally invite you and your family to worship with us at

Lascar Wharf Community Centre, 19 Parnham Street, London E14 7FN each week from 12:30pm

Our focus at House of Israel is to present you blameless and as a result we desire to follow the example of the 1st century assembly.

Acts 2:41

41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

In following the model laid by the first century assembly of the saints, here is how we can support your walk with Messiah

  • If you have received the word we can baptise you in Yeshua’s name
  • We teach the gospel of the Kingdom, without the traditions of men, the gospel both Yeshua and the apostles taught
  • We believe and teach the gift, fruit and manifestations of the Holy Spirit, that they are in operation today and are available to as many as ask for them
  • We believe in coming together on the Sabbath to worship; fellowship and foster community through breaking of bread together and by ministering to one another

These component are essential for the development of each individual member and as the body as a whole - as the scriptures teach.

Ephesians 4:4

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?

10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)

11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

As you can see, the gifts that Messiah gave unto men were for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Messiah. What this demonstrates is that perfection comes, in order for the body to do the work of ministry, in oder to edify one another. This comes to pass when the body is of one accord, of one mind and together as one people.

This is the revelation that provoked the writer to the Hebrews to admonish those reading, that they should not forsake gathering assembling.

Hebrews 10:23

23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

The fact is, assembling together was the pattern of first century believers and it is for this reason that we provide this service to you in accordance to your YeHoVaH’s law.

Exodus 20:8

Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

Leviticus 23:3

Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.

These are the feasts of the Lord, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.

So in conclusion, for us to be able to present you blameless we host Sabbath services in accordance to the law. If we didn't have a convocation the seventh day we would be lawless and our garments blemished. So if it is your desire to be Saints then I encourage you to join us so you can replicate what they did.

They baptised in your Yeshua’s name; they told the gospel of the kingdom without the traditions of men; they believe, taught, and exercise the gift of the holy spirit; and they came together on the sabbath day to fellowship and foster community.

I pray you will be joining us soon.

Marcus
