Further Information: 'Discipleship, Baptism & Breaking of Bread

March 04, 2019

First off, in accordance to the commission that Yeshua gave to his disciples and in following the pattern laid by the apostles, I put out the call for as many as the Father has called to join me.

Acts 2:41

41Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

What we see from scripture is that those who received the word should be baptised, because the word makes it clear that those who believe and are baptised shall be saved. Furthermore, baptism is coupled with discipleship or as stated in Acts 2, the apostles doctrine. Your focus can be to be baptised, but without the doctrine that ensures you know how to endure, your positioning yourself to not. Additionally, we see in verse 42 that there was fellowship, the breaking of bread and prayers.

All of these elements are essential in establishing and being grounded in the body of Messiah, being one in the body as Yeshua and the Father are one. It is for this cause that special focus is placed on these pillars on the 17th of March.

On the 17th of March at Seasalter Beach in Kent at 11am I am inviting you to join me beside the Seasalter Sailing Club, Faversham Road, Seasalter Beach, Whitstable CT5 4BW

For those who will be taking public transport, if you get in contact in advance and you can make it to Whitstable train station for 10:30am, then you will be driven to the meetup point.

On the day you will need:

  • Your Bible
  • Towels
  • Change of clothes/something suitable to be baptised in
  • Food and drink to share with others

During our time together we will be in the word, sharing words of encouragement, breaking bread in fellowship and baptising any who have been called by the Father.

Please get in touch if you need to be collected from Whitstable train station.

Also, let me know if you will be joining us and you’re driving.

And finally, I ask that you pray for us, the ministry of House of Israel U.K and my family.

The harvest in plenteous and the laborers are few. We need the strength and favor of YeHoVaH to be able to do what we need to do and overcome the challenges ahead.

YeHoVaH bless you.

I hope to see you on the 17th of March.

Marcus
