Put away the old leaven and become a new lump

Put away the old leaven and become a new lump

March 18, 2019

The Feast of Passover and Unleavened Bread are quickly approaching. These feasts have so much significance to believers, that the commandment to keep them was reaffirmed IN THE NEW TESTAMENT by the apostle Paul!

1 Corinthians 5:7
Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

Question: Does your Pope, Archbishop, Bishop, Reverend, Pastor, Deacon, Elder... encourage you to keep the feasts as Paul did?

Or are you encouraged to celebrate feasts and traditions that can't be found in the scriptures at all?

🤔

In all your years of reading and hearing the Bible read, did you ever hear the apostles celebrate Christmas? Easter? Lent? Holloween?...

No! So why are you?

🤔

If they're not in the scriptures where did they come from?

🤔

Could you be celebrating holidays, that you have been taught are part of a Christ-like religion while presupposing pagan traditions into the Holy Scriptures?

🤔

John 8:31
Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

To be a Christian, should be equal to being a disciple of Jesus/Yeshua. However, according to the master, you need to continue in HIS word. Therefore, it is not a title you can simply attach to yourself or your children. Furthermore, it is to those who continue in the words who are disciples and they are made free from SIN.

Is your Pope, Archbishop, Bishop, Reverend, Pastor, Deacon, Elder free from sin?

🤔

If not, then how could they possibly teach and lead YOU to freedom? Are you free from SIN?

🤔

Here is a passage to help you understand what sin is from the NEW TESTAMENT!

1 John 3:4
Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

Have you ever been taught to keep the laws of God, because a sinner won't enter into the Kingdom of God?

🤔

If not, why not? Surely that's the whole point of going to church in the first place - to enter the Kingdom of God and tabernacle with the Father and the Lamb forever.

Please understand my heart for you.

All those who have been called, who feel the tug in their innermost being that they need to put away the old leaven and become a new lump, the time is NOW!

Don't delay in following the righteous path of truth and holiness. Arise and shine for the light has come.

Join us so you can come to learn the truth, so you can be set free from sin, so death is not your portion - but life everlasting.
